Your attention please! Take care of all the happenings. Only you'd be responsible for any mishaps...

PROLOGUE : A stampede occurs at the New Delhi railway station. Two persons die and more than 15 receive injuries. Reports say it occurred due to change of platforms for two Bihar-bound trains at the last moment.
Now, read what the minister says:
"It is not the failure of the administration. People are responsible for such chaos. It is difficult to control such situations," Ms Banerjee said from Kolkata [Economic Times]
EPILOGUE : Gone are the days, when a minister used to feel responsible for some incidents or accidents. Ignore,
Home Minister P Chidambaram, who offered to resign after naxal attack in Dantewada. In a huge country, a minister can't be held responsible for such minor incidents. The passengers should take care of all the happenings or mishaps. It's OK. Then, what's the need of  security arrangements at railway stations. Why the government spends a lot on it? It's the duty of the government to facilitate its citizens. But, it depends, what priorities are important for whom. If, it said, Mamta is Minister for Kolkata [?], it's not just a joke or comment. Had Mamta Banerjee delivered the same statement, if the victims belonged to the state, she was not so much concerned.
